ABA is a medically necessary service and scheduling as close to the recommended hours as possible paired with consistency in sessions is essential to ensure meaningful outcomes and reauthorization of services. When requesting a schedule change with your child’s assigned supervisor, please allow adequate time for review (minimum of 2 weeks), although we will try to complete this process as quickly as possible. Upon receiving the request, the team will consider family preferences, medical considerations, staff availability, client needs and treatment plan, and progress toward goals. Observations to collect additional data may be needed for making a final decision. LSTS is unable to guarantee the approval of reducing services or schedule change requests, but we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
